  • IBJJF World No Gi Champion (2012 purple)
  • IBJJF Pan American Champion (2014 brown, 2013** purple, 2012 purple, 2011 blue)
  • IBJJF American National Champion (2014**/2013** brown, 2012** purple)
  • IBJJF American National No Gi Champion (2013 brown)
  • IBJJF Pan American Championship 3rd Place (2017)

Your Jiu Jitsu tool bag should have not just solid fundamentals, but a few of the latest techniques as well. Michael Liera Jr is a unique competitor in that he combines both fundamentals and new-school technique into his game very well. His seminars are known for being heavy on details and stringing together a series of moves in a simple progression.

Competitors such as Liera essentially work their way from tournament to tournament trying to spread Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and prepare themselves for the big IBJJF tournaments. Liera Jr won both his weight and the open weight at the Seattle open last year. He is back to do it again, but first he will teaching seminars on Wednesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM.

The seminars are open to anyone who trains in our fundamentals, intermediate, or advanced level classes. Wednesday night will be a gi seminar that starts at 6:00 PM, and Thursday will be NoGi and also start at 6:00 PM. The cost is 70 for one session or 125 for both. Space will be limited and registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Please sign up via the link below. Payment is not due at time of sign up, however signing up means we are holding your spot. So if you sign up we will require a 48 hour cancellation to avoid being charged for the spot. I believe that the spots will fill up fairly quickly. I'll be as accommodating as possible, but the sooner you sign up the better.
